2023-2024 Public Firesides

In the “Moving Forward” series, members of the Baha’i community explore topics and their relation to the questions of the world. After twenty-minute presentations, there is time for light refreshments and interactive discussion. This is the second annual series of presentations in this series hosted by New South Bookstore and organized by the Spiritual Assembly of Baha’is of Montgomery.

On July 10, Dr. Enid Probst will present the Bahá’i perspective of the relationship between humanity and the natural world. The presentation will draw on multiple resources, especially a statement from the Bahá’i International Community, One Planet, One Habitation. Dr. Probst has a PhD in the geological sciences and has been a professor of geology, an environmental consultant, and a geologist with the Alabama Dept. of Environmental Management.
